Clothed in Righteousness
Honoring, Respecting, and Protecting Our Fellow Man
"I will rejoice greatly in the LORD, My soul will exult in my God;
For He has clothed me with garments of salvation,
He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness,
As a bridegroom decks himself with a garland,
And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels." Isaiah 61: 10
"Names are important to the person they are given to." Yanna Beyond Under
"Everything you do should have a purpose to it." My Daddy
When I set out to start a business to promote modesty I knew I wanted a name that showed the heart of Clothed in Righteousness and the purpose behind its being. I prayed and told GOD that I didn't want to just name my business something just to have a name for name sake, this was going to be HIS business therefore HE needed to name it. Then one day as I was thinking about my business the phrase clothed in righteousness kept popping into my brain. No matter how hard I tried that phrase just wouldn't leave me alone. Finally I decided to look and see if there was any verse in the Bible about being clothed in righteousness. The second verse I found was Isaiah 61:10 (see above) and I knew immediately that was the name for
my business.
Clothed in Righteousness in not just another organization trying to get teenage girls to cover up their cleavage, no, it goes far deeper than that.
It's about revealing the how's and why's of dressing modestly. It's about honoring guys for being the men GOD calls them to be. It's about respecting
the men in our lives by encouraging them in a respectful and appropriate manner. And most importantly, it's about protecting the male race from one of Satan's most used tackets: to keep guys from being the Godly men they are made to be by distracting them with the female form.
When GOD made women HE made them to be a helper to man (see Gen 2:18 in The Bible). Now I am NOT saying that is all we were made for or that that the only reason women were made is to please men. We were made for far more than that, BUT that is part of the responsibility of being a
women. Whether in the form of a wife or co-worker we as the female race have a responsibility to help men in being all they were made to be.
Satan knows this and has used women as a distraction to keep men from fulfilling their God-given roles. Now it's time to take back our Biblical call as women and stop distracting and start protecting.
I invite you to join me on this mission as we walk beside our fathers, brothers, co-workers, and male friends and become the helper we were called to be by our Creator The Lord Jesus Christ Israel's Messiah.
